It’s rumoured to offer better graphics and lifelike movement tracking to improve use.
Google have been working with HTC and Lenovo to makes the new headset, which is set to officially launch later this year.
The new Google headset will offer positional tracking, which will help users look and move around their own space in line with the virtual space they are viewing from the headset. This kind of tracking and movement has previously only been done with PC-based VR headsets, such as Oculus Rift & HTC Vive.
Along with this new Google headset, Sony revealed at E3 2017 that they will be releasing new VR games with the PSVR.

Imagination can only take you so far, so why not teach or learn with the assistance of VR? If you want to teach Science, Mathematics or English using inventive technology, then you need to take a leaf out of Davis Magnet School in Costa Mesa – their science lesson for the days abolished textbooks and notebooks and instead turned to Google Cardboard (which our own Panoramix VR headset was inspired by) and 3D videos on their smartphones.
As reported by The Orange County Register, the sixth graders were left to observe a typical and virtual video of brain surgery, with the expert voice of Dr. Robert Louis to commentate over the 'fly-through' experience.
By purchasing one of our iPhone virtual reality headsets, you could educate your children in a similar way should you wish to teach in an innovative way.

A Beginner’s Guide for Smartphone Virtual Reality Headsets2017-04-17
Our choice of headsets is expanding rapidly. With a selection of cardboard smartphone VR headsets and other immersive experiences available, you really do have an extensive collection available. The development of VR products has meant that there are some which require a smartphone screen, whilst others rely on a system or TV screen to enjoy the virtual experience.
Our Panoramix VR Headset was inspired by one of the most paramount headsets to come to market. It's thought that this headset was the starting point, and is considered by many as the beginner's virtual reality experience – Google Cardboard.
The main benefit of our Google Cardboard inspired headset is that it's easy to use and compatible for both Android and iOS platforms. It's cheap and highly effective for experiencing virtual reality.
When you want to find a smartphone virtual reality headset and it's your first time of experiencing a VR headset, then Google Cardboard and our Panoramix VR headset are the ideal choices.
Our Panoramix VR offers a unique viewing experience. Each of our VR headsets are bespoke and made to order, which gives you the personalisation you may desire. This means your branding or design will be printed through a full colour design and perfectly constructed headset.
You've more than likely heard about the influx of new, quality VR headsets, which include the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR, but these headsets cost a great deal more than a cardboard VR viewer.
Virtual Reality Headsets are the Future, but how could they develop further?2017-04-13
It’s clear that virtual reality headsets are growing more and more in the market and will continue to do so. Even though they are developing quickly, it’s certainly no secret that the VR headset market will continue to grow.
The concept of virtual reality is something that itself is already very advanced. With technology, it moves forward at rapid rates, so it’s inevitable that it will develop further.
Being able to escape reality itself is an amazing opportunity, and with a virtual reality headset, this is made possible. Viewing new environments is mind-blowing, but the VR headsets themselves, how else can they develop? Through becoming completely wireless or working through WiFi? Through a new and intricate modular design?
The most common VR systems are available through a smartphone or PC/console. Smartphone VR headsets are low cost and easy to use, but the performance of gaming VR headsets are of a higher quality. Having such a high-powered piece of tech does mean that batter consumption is greater – therefore not offering much life for use.
Could having a standalone VR headset system have more benefits? This is a concept being suggested by many. The only issues being that it could make a headset much heavier and would be extremely costly to build and sell on the market.
Virtual Reality Headsets are transforming the world of Science2017-03-30
You’ve read it here first – virtual reality headsets are transforming the world, and are set to continue to do so with further developments in the not too distant future. Virtual reality is improving experiences for many people and will continue to do so for entertainment value, research and marketing.
We saw an interesting post from the website, Furturism – which exclaimed ‘Scientists Just Created Stunning “Warped Worlds” in Virtual Reality’. We couldn’t leave this blog and so we had to take a look and see how else virtual reality is being used.
We’ve viewed VR headsets as a way for gaming, viewing experience, marketing and even as a form of training in sport. But one aspect we haven’t yet looked at is how it could help with research; in this case, scientific research and experience.
The virtual immersion has allowed topologist, Henry Segerman and his team to preview a software which effectively allows them to explore a curved universe, free of the ordinary rules of geometry. What once would be impossible to experience, anyone with a VR headset can now experience this universe.
Virtual reality has the capacity of improving our world further, with an inclusion in Science, music, gaming, sport and research, virtual reality is now an option.

Virtual Reality Headsets are becoming a hit with the older generation in the UK2017-03-18
We were pleased to see a wonderful story from The York Press this week – about some elderly residents enjoying the revolution of virtual reality headsets in a York care home. The York care home in Wigginton introduced residents to VR headsets and allowed them to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of virtual reality with a rollercoaster and swimming among tropical fish.
This is what we find beautiful about virtual reality – it’s fun for everyone. No matter of your age, everyone is susceptible to the immersive enjoyment you can experience. As long as you have someone to explain the process or set up a VR headset for you, you can experience virtual reality.
Our easy to use virtual reality headsets for smartphones could be the ideal piece of entertainment. Whether it’s for your grandparent or child, they can enjoy this cool piece of technology if they own a smartphone; whether it’s an iPhone or Android.
We believe that for the older generation in particular, virtual reality could be brilliant for their psychological wellbeing. It will allow their brains to keep active and give them the freedom to have some fun at a time where they may not be able to get out and about like they used to.
Not only were they introduced to VR headsets in this care home, but they also experienced SnapChat, which offers a great deal of fun also with images that can be altered and manipulated by animations.

Can Virtual Reality Headsets be used for more?2017-02-08
Here at Your 3D Glasses (Panoramix VR), we thoroughly enjoy reading the latest news about virtual reality headsets. We’ve seen the influx of a great deal of new headsets over the coming months and we can’t wait to see the continue development.
Although there has been a great expansion in VR headsets, particularly in the entertainment branch of virtual reality, is there more that these VR goggles can do? According to a team of psychologists at Cardiff University, there could be.
We first saw this story reported by the BBC, and we were extremely excited about the prospect that virtual reality headsets could be a process to diagnose and treat those who suffer with the condition of Vertigo. It’s a condition that can affect you for days, creating an uneasy sensation like everything is moving or spinning around you.
A team of psychologists are developing virtual environments to help with diagnosis and rehabilitation of Vertigo. Since we saw this story, we can see why they would take this approach to create fictional but life-like environments to diagnose Vertigo and offer virtual reality as a treatment. The main challenge of vertigo is that it affects people differently; with different triggers for people, it remains that the psychologists will have to create various scenarios.

Could Virtual Reality Enter Education?2016-12-08
Recently in the news we have seen the invasion of virtual reality headsets. From the new PlayStation VR headset to the adaptation of Google’s headsets, more and more products are entering the market to compete. What started out as just Google Cardboard has now developed so much so that the entertainment and gaming industries are embracing virtual reality to improve a viewer’s experience.
Our last few posts have been about the introduction of VR headsets onto the market, most specifically for game consoles and TVs; but is there another industry that could benefit or suffer at the hands of virtual reality?
Recently in the news, we have seen that Google have decided to provide a selection of their view-finder masks to show children how to use their educational VR headsets. This then makes us wonder, is virtual reality going to become a new educational tool in the classroom? From our adaption from blackboards to white boards, and white boards to interactive boards, could there be a final development from an interactive white board to virtual reality headsets?
Google’s virtual reality headset invasion means that millions of headsets have been shipped to classrooms across the world – allowing children to immerse themselves into a new educational 3D world.
Google will be visiting schools across London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast, Newcastle and Inverness to show off their VR headsets, and children will be able to experience a new kind of teaching method for the future.
You can find out more about virtual reality headsets by seeing our own creation, the Panoramix VR.
Virtual Reality is set to take over Christmas2016-11-29
When it comes to filling your children’s or teenager’s stockings this Christmas, you can almost guarantee that they will be looking to open their gift and see a new iPhone VR headset for their Smartphone. At the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, there was a limit on the virtual reality headsets available on the market, and now the technology is expanding and adapting.
Virtual reality is most certainly the biggest tech trends of the year and can only progress more and more. It is thought that virtual reality is thought to become more a part of our daily lives, whether it’s gaming, advertising or work. With many types of VR headsets, there are currently thousands of them being sold on a daily basis across the world.
Because of its development and expansion, you can almost guarantee that your child, teenager, partner, father, mother or even grandparents will want to receive a virtual reality headset this Christmas.
One of the most popular choices of VR headsets will be the brand new PlayStation VR. The PS VR has been impressive in terms of its sales, having outsold every other console currently on the market in its first week. It is currently one of the cheapest headsets available in the VR world, and would be a wonderful gift this Christmas.
If you’re looking for a personalised VR headset this Christmas, then you can see our own creation (inspired by Google Cardboard), the Panoramix VR.
Is your child’s Christmas wish list mostly VR focussed?2016-11-17
Virtual reality is the craze of today. There are many new products coming to market, and whilst we end 2016 with many new products and concepts, 2017 looks set to be a fantastic time for the progression of virtual reality.
With Christmas now just weeks away, your child has most likely been pestering you for the latest tech on the market – this being virtual reality headsets. Whether they are asking for virtual reality headsets for Smartphones or they’re looking to immerse themselves within a new game on the PlayStation, we have a number of products that you could purchase for them this Christmas.
There are many new products on the market ranging from Google’s Cardboard VR viewer to Sony’s brand new PlayStation VR, your child will have many options when it comes choosing how they experience virtual reality this Christmas.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive and compatible VR viewer that can be used with smartphones, iOS and Android, then you can get them Google Cardboard, SmartTheater Virtual Reality Headset or View-Master Virtual Reality Headset. These are great for your children to experience virtual reality, but they’re more of a 3D movie quality rather than immersive VR - but you can guarantee it’ll still impress them.
If your kids however are maybe bigger kids, teenagers even, or they know a great deal about VR, then they may be expecting their VR headset to be gaming compatible and highly immersive. These kind of headsets can include the Google Daydream View, Samsung Gear VR, HTC Vive and even the Oculus Rift.
Here at Your 3D Glasses, we have devised and developed our own Google Cardboard inspired VR headsets, known as the Panoramix VR. If you want to personalise a VR headset for your child this Christmas, then you should consider the Panoramix VR.
Old school games and the latest tech2016-11-09
The stories of virtual reality headsets are expanding week after week. We’ve seen the big names such as Sony, Facebook, Sky and Google all developing VR headsets to compete against one another, and now we can add HTC to the list.
We all love those retro arcade games we used to play when growing up. It was an activity across the globe to visit the local arcade for hours, allowing your imagination to run wild. Nowadays they’ve become a bit extinct with more kids and teenagers opting to stay in to play their PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC games. Now though, with the combination of these retro games and the latest tech, HTC are going to utilise virtual reality with old school arcade games.
HTC aim to open hundreds of virtual reality gaming arcades across the globe, including China, Europe and the US by the end of 2017. The programme is currently called ‘Viveport Arcade’ and it is getting people excited - both young and older people. The aim of the project is to develop and promote virtual reality games for its VR devices, the notably their ‘Vive Headset’.
The aim is to promote their new product, and we really like the idea of bringing together traditional gaming and virtual reality – fun for all the family.
Find out more about virtual reality headsets by seeing the range we have devised on our website Your 3D Glasses – the Panoramix VR Headset.
Are Virtual Reality Headsets Perfect?2016-11-07
The digital world is well and truly succumbing to the pull, creativity and thrill of virtual reality, but is virtual reality really something that we should all be getting excited about? Of course. But are virtual reality headsets perfect? They’re extremely effective in attracting viewers to experience a whole new virtual reality where it seems so real. There’s still work to do, virtual reality is an amazing experience that you shouldn’t miss out on, but there is still work and technology to be devised to ensure it is absolutely perfect.
Even though we have seen new VR headsets being created for big names, like the Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, Sky VR and HTC Vive, but what some people are saying is that they lack the ability and comprehension of your movements. The actions and moves you make are not realistic, such as having to move your head to peek around corners and adjust your body accordingly – which then makes the user realise the virtual world isn’t real, and that’s not the effect we want.
The gaming world specifically is just fingertips away from creating the perfect VR experience where you can be fully immersed. However, there are big advancements within the VR headset conception. Yuka Kojima, who is CEO and co-founder of FOVE has dedicated his work to transform how VR headsets work. With their new FOV 0 headset, they will look to use infrared light which will track your pupils. Such eye tracking technology would increase the fluidity of the user’s experience, making it more realistic.
Microsoft announce new VR headsets, starting at $2992016-11-03
You read the title correctly, there has been more developments in the world of virtual reality headsets. With a sudden influx of new headsets coming to market, we can expect virtual reality to continue its dramatic growth within many industries and modes of use form entertainment to expert training.
The latest news is the Microsoft have announced a new VR headset, which is available at a costly starting price of $299. To some it may seem like a lot of money, but in terms of virtual reality headsets on the market, it isn’t too bad for this technology.
Their new VR headsets will take full advantage of Windows 107apos;s virtual reality and holographic capabilities. Although the headsets will be available at an extremely costly price, they will include inside-out tracking sensors, which will remove the requirement of external cameras or laser systems. Not a great deal of information has been released by Microsoft as of yet, but we can expect to see more information come to light over the coming months.
If you want to find VR headsets for smartphones for your own entertainment or for marketing inspiration for your company, then you can rely on our expertise here at Your 3D Glasses. We provide a bespoke service when it comes to creating tailored VR headsets for numerous occasions.
The Revolution of Virtual Reality2016-10-24
When there is a new piece of technology on the market, the world does nothing but talk about it. However, not only is everyone talking about virtual reality headsets, but big names are using it as their future products. With globally recognised companies embracing VR Headsets, it means that virtual reality can expect to feature in homes and businesses across the world. If you’re a businessman looking for innovative marketing, then virtual reality is the way to go.
If you want the choice of a selection of printed virtual reality headsets online, look no further than Your 3D Glasses.
You must have heard by now about the creation of the PS4 VR, along with Facebook’s foray into the virtual reality sphere. Virtual Reality is certainly becoming the next big thing, which makes it imperative for businesses to acknowledge it and implement it.
Virtual reality will be introducing something new for many markets, ranging from entertainment to advertisement. It will certainly impact the digital world as we know it, increasing the ease of visualising spaces, products and ideas with an immersive experience. VR will also effectively make the process of learning certain skills even easier. We heard recently that Louis Van Gaal wanted to optimise Manchester United’s training with VR headsets too – to offer an in-game scenario with the assistance of VR. There are even reports that the U.S. military are using VR to train their soldiers.

Sony and PlayStation’s new VR Headset2016-10-17
Recently we looked at how Sky were using VR headsets to improve the experience for their customers when watching the TV. Now it’s branching further, with Sony becoming the next big name to embrace virtual reality headsets. We’ve seen virtual reality used in gaming, but this is set to take it to the next level, with virtual reality being welcomed into homes across the globe.
The PlayStation’s virtual reality headset will give gamers a whole new immersive experience, with gamers now being able to buy these new VR headsets. Sony will be releasing more VR experiences and software as we progress over time, but this is certainly the beginning of something big. With many new VR products entering the market, people are predicting Sony and PlayStation’s VR headset to shine over Sky VR, HTC and Facebook’s use of virtual reality.
Although VR headsets are becoming increasingly popular, there was a disappointing statistic amongst the VR headset world; which found that only 3% of Brits actually own a VR headset, and the PlayStation model will make up 7% of that. The bigger percentage is coming from the use of those typical smartphone VR headsets, similar to our Panoramix VR Headset.

Virtual Reality is fast expanding2016-10-13
Virtual reality is certainly becoming the big phenomenon of 2016, and we think that virtual reality headsets will develop even more in 2017. At the start of the year, we were all talking about Google Cardboard (which inspired us to create our own VR headset), and now other companies look set to embrace virtual reality headsets to improve viewing. The latest company is Sky, who have now introduced their new Sky VR app. Most people have iPhones and Smartphones, and now it has never been easier to experience virtual reality through your own phone.
Sky VR is available for iOS and Androids, allowing viewers to sit back, relax and enjoy being merged into a digital world. The idea is that Sky customers will now be able to experience television like never before. We’ve experienced virtual reality at theme parks and even in cinemas, but now you can do it in your own home. With this sleek looking Sky VR headset and equally cool app, you can watch a short clip on boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, go behind the scene with the Williams F1 team and see the ’Jungle Book’ in a new sphere of entertainment – close and personal, as if they’re in the room (or you’re in their own digital world).
We’re undoubtedly excited about this prospect that smartphone virtual reality headsets will become a common sight in the living room. Just imagine being a part of a new world whilst in front of your TV, there’s nothing quite like it. The way you feel when you read a book isn’t matched by any form of entertainment, but with the assistance of virtual reality, you can now feel like you do when you enter that imaginary world within a book.
Google Cardboard inspired headset with Logo2016-10-10
Have you ever considered utilising virtual reality headsets for your business, sporting team or new game? Whatever you do as a business owner, inventor or sports personnel, you can guarantee that virtual reality can be used to complete your ambition or improve your experience. We’ve told you many success stories within VR marketing across all industries, but now we’re seeing more uses of quality virtual reality headsets.
Whether you’re looking for a Google Cardboard headset with your logo, or you want to find an alternative which offers more customisation, you can always rely on our quality creation of the Panoramix VR Headset.
Virtual Reality Headsets in Premier League Football?
A story in the media caught our attention this week, about Louis Van Gaal and Manchester United. During Louis’ up and down Manchester United career, he considered embracing virtual reality headsets for his training sessions. We know that the Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven use them for training their players, but it was thought that Manchester United were also going to introduce it into their training schedule.
For us, it makes complete sense, it could give the players an in match experience without the risk of injury and even allow them to practice certain aspects or tactics to their game. So we are expecting the emergence of VR headsets in football soon. The virtual reality goggles were going to allow players to see how certain tactics would work from clips, but from their own eyes during a match.
We think it is a great idea, so or anyone out there who manages a football club and wants to introduce this technology, you can rely on us to create you a personalised headset for your team’s training – we can put your colours and logo onto the headset!
Immersive Ideas for your Marketing2016-09-29
When it comes to marketing of any sort, the most important aspect is standing out, and one of the best ways to stand out is with the assistance of revolutionary technology. Here at Your 3D Glasses, we have devised our Google Cardboard inspired customisable virtual reality headset, the Panoramix VR. We’ve previously spoken about many of the latest uses of virtual reality headset success stories, but what else can be done with virtual reality?
You have many options. We believe that there are no limits with virtual reality or 3D glasses, so whether you want to create a short marketing immersive experience, or you want to create an effective public display, then you can use the technology of 3-dimensional imagery or virtual reality.
There has recently been a story in the news based on 3D glasses and a piece of art on the streets of Belfast – it may not be virtual reality, but we still think that it’s a great idea to use the 3D effect. To see the real image named ‘South East’, you will require a pair of 3D glasses. This came about because ‘Culture Night’ decided to invite talented street artists from around the globe to Belfast, so they could revitalise the streets; this therefore lead to some amazing street artwork.
If you want to see Emic’s ’8-bit generation’ piece, it’s near the Sunflower Bar in Belfast, but make sure you pack a pair of 3D glasses.
Nothing is impossible, and with our printed Google cardboard inspired VR headset, you can bring your ideas to life.
Customised VR headsets - the future of mobile gaming2016-09-21
Since the creation of Google Cardboard, we believe that we have seen just the begin of virtual reality headsets. Their usage has risen and the articles and blogs about them across the internet and printed media is increasing, which can only mean that VR headsets are certainly making an impact. We believe that iPhone VR Headsets are the future of mobile gaming. There are currently many apps and software on iPhone’s which allow you to utilise your VR headset, but there isn’t a substantial amount of VR apps or mobile games available on the market – as of yet but there are certainly any being created and added to the Apple store.
If you’re someone who is yet to experience virtual reality from your iPhone with a VR headset, you can see the selection of iOS apps and games currently available on the app store. Of course, to really benefit from the experience, you will need a good quality virtual reality headset to strap onto your face. But once you do have your iPhone VR headset, you can then roam the app store and experiment with the software currently available. We believe that all VR apps are currently free to download, so do feel free to explore the Apple store and download some fun VR software and apps.
If you are looking for a good quality VR headset to purchase, then we highly recommend our own premium custom branded cardboard VR viewer, the Panoramix VR (inspired by Google Cardboard).

Join in with the Personalised Google Cardboard Vibe2016-08-23
Google Cardboard really has transformed our world – it’s not only improved the marketing for businesses, but it’s now having an impact on the way people experience entertainment. You may have heard one of the most recent virtual reality usages, with the partnership of Google Cardboard and the BBC. The BBC set out to experiment with VR headsets by allowing users to watch the current Rio Olympics 2016 through their VR headset, but as an experiment, not everyone was allowed to try it.
We need to remember, this new life of virtual reality is still new to us, Google Cardboard was only released late 2014, early 2015, so it is still a piece of equipment and technology that we’re not used to. Here at Your 3D Glasses, we are also working to improve the VR experience for users. We are offering our own quality Panoramix VR Viewers (inspired by Google Cardboard) to help improve our knowledge of these virtual reality headsets; and we are personally enjoying seeing this new phenomenon grow.
But looking back at the BBC’s experiment, they had planned their experimental service, BBC Sport 360, to try and get visitors closer to the Rio Olympics action with a 360 video. They have been allowing 100 hours of footage in total, and up to four different camera angles for the user to experience whilst being completely engrossed by their VR headset.
By browsing our website, you will be able to find out how VR headsets work, and get your hands on your own personalised Google Cardboard inspired VR headset.

You can let the VR do the talking (or presenting).
Some VR Inspiration
There are many typical success stories where certain businesses use VR advertising; one of which is Savannah College of Art and Design, they recently created a virtual reality experience for their students. The college took the time to mail 5,000 branded cardboard viewers to their prospective students. These mailed branded headsets allowed students to experience the college’s campuses in Savannah, Atlanta and Hong Kong. This allowed students to see real life imagery of the campus through their headsets, which allowed them to familiarise themselves with each campus.
This is just one of the success stories, but there are many more online – you can easily become one of those success stories by using our custom VR headset services. We believe that the key to succeeding with virtual reality marketing is by being innovative with your ideas, and by using our services, we’ll be more than happy to collaborate with you for the best headset on the market.

What is Google Cardboard?
With many new technological advancements coming out of the woodwork, there has been a surge of new virtual reality products. One of the biggest products on the market for virtual reality without a doubt is Google Cardboard. We were first introduced to Google Cardboard at the Google I/O 2014 developers conference; we heard what it could do, how it works and we saw them being distributed amongst the attendees to the conference. With their complimentary pair of custom Google Cardboard VR viewers, there was nothing but great reviews – and since 2014, the VR viewers have expanded and developed further.
Throughout January 2016, there was reportedly over 5 million cardboard viewers that were shipped and over 1,000 compatible applications published. With such success, Google announced a new and improved VR platform called Daydream at the Google I/O 2016.
How does it work?
Google Cardboard uses virtual reality to immerse its user into a realistic and three dimensional world. To experience this virtual reality, all you need is one of the Google VR headsets and your Android or iOS operating system; this then allows the software development kit to project the handheld’s device image and allow you to see everything differently.

Branded VR viewers - a bit of fun for everyone!2016-02-24
3D and virtual reality are always enjoyed by everyone and anyone. It doesn’t matter whether your five or fifty-five, 3D imagery and virtual reality is always impressive. When you come to think about the concept or at least explain virtual reality, you often struggle to know where to begin; and that’s the beauty of virtual reality – its sole purpose is to cleverly trick your brain (in the nicest possible way) and make you see amazing imagery in 3D motions. Although they’re primarily utilised in the entertainment sphere, it’s only a matter of time before virtual reality is all around us.
We’ve developed an efficient, innovative and simple to use tool known as Panoramix VR – smartphone virtual reality headset, which is re-branding the corporate marketing industry with virtual reality marketing.
How do our Virtual Reality Headsets achieve a 3D output?
3D imagery has been around for a long time now, but recent developments have introduced virtual reality headsets. Our headsets work on the basis of stimulating the user’s sight with the assistance of their smartphone screen and using anaglyph, polarized, diffraction 3D and lenticular techniques. In basic terms, the screen of the smartphone with the assistance of the headset tricks your brain; so whilst you physically move, the 3D image in front of your eyes also moves, making the sight and sensation real.
We want to utilise VR as a marketing technique, which is why we offer our tailored VR headsets.
